Our road trip around half the Baltic Sea has left us with many impressions. Finland, Russia (Karelia), the Baltic States, Kaliningrad and Poland were on the route of our road trip. A route that could hardly be more varied. Simply the perfect mix of nature and culture. And the icing on the cake: there are many great pitches for the camper, mostly free of charge and often directly by the sea. A dream, right? Roadtrip Russia & Baltic States - Route, Highlights and Pitches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Why a road trip on the Baltic Sea? Well, the Baltic Sea begins almost at the gates of Berlin. The journey is short. After about 4 hours by car, we finally get on the ferry and the journey begins. A journey through six countries with varied landscapes, diverse culture, interesting history and friendly people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have covered a distance of about 4,500 kilometres in 30 days. So about 160 kilometres a day. Sometimes more sometimes less. In some places we also stayed 2 or 3 days. In the map I marked our places for the night and our route. You can also see many little hearts on the map - these are the highlights of our road trip in Russia & Baltic States, which I describe in the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
